In nearby Lansdowne they have been working for years on making their main street a walkable, attractive area. The classic theater, the restoration of the “20th Century Club” a Saturday morning farmers market and some quality restaurants have made a huge difference. We finally visited the Avenue Deli and I can report that we were very impressed by the excellent, tasty and affordable selection. Next treat will be a few doors down with a visit to the “The Icery” for some home made Gelato and Ices.
